What Is a Traineeship?

Definition

Traineeships combine work-based learning with practical, on-the-job training.

Registered Training Organisation

Classroom-based learning is provided by a a nationally registered provider of training, such as Learning Sphere (RTO 91718).

Duration

Traineeships typically last between 12 to 24 months, depending on the qualification level.

Employment

Trainees are employed and paid while gaining hands-on experience in their field.

Eligibility

Available for Australian and NZ citizens or Australian permanent residents, 15 years old or over, who are no longer in school.

What Do You Mean by Fee-Free and NSW Government Funding?

We help you maximise government funding, but eligibility applies: Training may be fee-free and fully subsidised by the government. This may also include payroll tax rebates and employer hiring incentives for eligible staff. Contact us to learn more about how these benefits might apply to you.

Contracts

Are There Any Contracts?

No lock-in contracts: No, we operate on a no-lock-in contract model. Students will need to complete a formal enrolment process to enrol in the qualification, but we assist with the entire process, including cancellation if they choose not to continue.
